The University of Minnesota Twin Cities participates in the Global Research University Profile (GRUP), an annual project from ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. The information provided by each university, which includes data on employees, student enrollment and degrees, and institutional income, is used by ShanghaiRanking to populate a university’s profile on their website and to produce university rankings.
To promote transparency for global rankings participation, ShanghaiRanking requires that the data provided to them be published on an institution’s website.
