Save the date - February 8 to 12, 2027 marks the annual international celebration of Love Data Week. The 2027 theme is “Love Data. Handle with Care.”
The University of Minnesota is participating in Love Data Week by hosting data events and educational opportunities (events will be posted below when available) targeted towards University faculty, staff, and students, and by participating in the Big Ten Academic Alliance Data Viz Championship.
Participate in the Data Viz Championship
The University of Minnesota is hosting its own 2027 Data Viz Championship, where the winners* will go on to participate in the BTAA Data Viz Championship in February 2027. Student entrants must use the provided NCAA Women's Basketball Data Set set. Faculty and staff can submit an existing or create a new data visualization based on any theme.
